OPEN HEAVENS DAILY DEVOTIONAL FOR TEENS TUESDAY 6TH FEBRUARY 2018 STAND IN THE GAP: BE AN INTERCESSOR
MEMORISE: Wherefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees; Hebrews 12:12
Please read: Hebrews 12:12-14
Sometimes, I look around and I can’t seem to recognize Christians anymore.
To be a Christian
is to be Christ-like; to have His nature and behaviour, but this is not the case with many so-
called Christians today. When you see someone
falling or weak in the faith, what do you do? Do you laugh at the person, make the person a topic for gossip or do you pray for the person?
When you see someone who does have food to eat or
is wearing rags, do you begin to look down on the person or do you step in to help the person
in whatever capacity that you can?
Hebrews 12-12 tells us that we are to lift up weak hands and feeble knees, not ignore them or
gossip about them.
We are to stand in the gap!
When last did you pray for someone around you?
When last did you share what you had with someone who needed it? You need to always stand in the gap, not just for your friends and
family members, but also for those who you are not close to
Stand in the gap
BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: Exodus 39-40
1. Is your life a channel of blessing?
Is the love of God flowing through you?
Are you telling the lost of the Savior?
Are you ready His service to do?
Make me a channel of blessing today,
Make me a channel of blessing, I pray;
My life possessing, my service blessing,
Make me a channel of blessing today.
2. Is your life a channel of blessing?
Are you burdened for those that are lost?
Have you urged upon those who are straying
The Savior who does on the cross?
3. Is your life a channel of blessing?
Is it a daily telling for Him?
Have you spoken the Word of salvation
To those who are dying in sin?
4. We cannot be channels of blessing
If our lives are not free from sin;
We will barriers be and a hindrance
To those we are trying to win.
